Studio Background

Founded in 1996, Treyarch, an Activision studio, is one of the most accomplished developers in the game industry, having released over 20 titles. In 2004, after completing Call of Duty: United Offensive, Gray Matter Interactive, who also developed Return to Castle Wolfenstein, joined forces with Treyarch. Treyarch is currently shipping the Call of Duty: World at War, Quantum of Solace, and Spiderman: Web of Shadows video games.

Treyarch is home to some of the industry's best and brightest talent, and has garnered a reputation for being one of the industry's premier art, design and technology powerhouses. Today, the studio's teams are focusing on AAA quality next generation games for the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii and PC platforms. Treyarch's successful track record of releasing blockbuster hits, extensive infrastructure and strong management provides a solid foundation from which it can successfully pioneer major franchises and build on our successes to date.
