Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 - Launch Day

Are they art? Entertainment? It’s a debate that will go on.
But for us, today – video games are pure joy.
Black Ops 3 has been a labor of love for Treyarch, and it brings everyone at the studio a tremendous amount of joy to finally share it with the world.
We’re all video game fans at heart – we’ve grown up with them and want to create and deliver that same kind of fun to fans of gaming that we have spent a lifetime enjoying. We wouldn’t have this opportunity if it wasn’t for you….so thank you!
We’ve been making games for a while now and you’ve been with us every step of the way. So, we’re excited to finally be able to share all the gameplay, features, surprises and Easter Eggs that we’ve packed into the game. But our times up, even though there are many more we haven’t even had a chance to show you, like:
Campaign
- Immersion Training: In the Safe House, you can try any load out in this round-based training simulator (playable 1-4 players).
- Dead Ops Arcade II: You know…the sequel to Dead Ops Arcade (playable 1-4 players).
- Nightmares: More on that in a bit…
Multiplayer
- The Black Market: Loot system, where the more you play the more loot you get though interactions with a shadowy black market dealer.
- Personalization of Specialists: While we’ve talked about this one, but you haven’t seen it yet! And wait until you do…there is so many cool ways to customize your favorite specialists!
- Custom Games: Play multiplayer your way with your friends…endless variations to how you can create your own unique game modes, with friends or alone against our bots.
We’ll be joining you for that fun along the way. Over the coming weeks and months, keep an eye out for our signature Community Game Nights, as well as a few other surprises. If you tune into our social channels, you’ll know what’s coming.
