The Road to Champs
We are so excited and cannot wait for Call of Duty XP to kick off on September 1. Over the course of that weekend, we’ll see the top 32 Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 teams from around the world square off for their shot at being the best and to take home their piece of the $2 million prize pool.
While not everyone can make it to Los Angeles, we wanted to make sure that no one felt left out…
Starting Friday 8/19, Black Ops 3 players will have the opportunity to unlock Call of Duty World Championship-themed animated calling cards, as well as a brand new melee weapon – the “Prizefighters” boxing gloves. How? No big deal – just play a total of 350 MILLION player matches as a community between August 19 and September 2 (10am/PT).
I know you’re thinking, “Wow, that’s a lot.”
We know, but we’re confident that we can do this.
New content will be unlocked upon completion of each of the 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% goals and progress will be displayed in-game.
Even if you can’t play for the World Championship, there’s no reason why you can’t look like you did.
